The latest National Weather Service forecast for the coming week and 4th of July weekend calls for light rain and a chance of thunderstorms during the week and sunny days over the weekend.

Your Local NWS Forecast As of June 30

  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. South wind around 10 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7am and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Thursday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
