East Hampton Principal Passes Away

EAST HAMPTON, CT — East Hampton High School Principal John Fidler passed away suddenly Sunday.

The high school is open until 7 p.m. Monday for people to leave their sympathies.

"The news is hard for our teachers, staff, students, and families because John has been well-loved by the East Hampton Community for years," said Superintendent of Schools Paul Smith.

Fidler was on vacation with his family when he passed away, according to Fox 61.
