East Hampton Public Works Asks Public To Keep Roads Clear

The Public Works Department is asking residents to keep roads and right of way areas clear for snow removal.

EAST HAMPTON, CT - The Public Works Department is asking homeowners to make sure public areas are clear for snow removal this winter. According to a statement from the town:

"The Town of East Hampton Department of Public Works would like to remind all residents to keep Town roads/rights of way clear for snow clearing operations (per Ordinance 5.3).

"Garbage and recycling carts/containers must be kept behind the curb/edge of road. No parking is allowed on roadsides during snow removal operations. Basketball hoops, soccer goals, etc. are not permitted in the Town roads. By Town ordinance, residents may not deposit snow onto the Town road.
