East Hampton Talks Complaint Over Eversource Storm Response
Town Manager Michael Maniscalco said there was room for improvement in the company's response to a strong wind storm.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Town Manager Michael Maniscalco has filed a complaint with the state agency that regulates Eversource over its response to the strong wind storm Oct. 29.
Maniscalco said the company didn't take advantage of about $4,000 of town aid that was offered to help with the storm response, according to the Middletown Press.
Eversource officials responded by presenting an 18-page storm response report. Officials contend that they met emergency restoration plan requirements.
