EAST HAMPTON, CT - Town Manager Michael Maniscalco is leaving his job to take the town manager position in South Windsor, The Middletown Press reported. He will replace South Windsor Town Manager Matthew Galligan, who is retiring.

Maniscalco, a Trumbull native, has served in the role in East Hampton since 2012 and will leave in July. He was hired during a controversy about eliminating the police chief role in East Hampton, a position that the town restored a few months later, according to The Middletown Press.
