East Hampton Votes On Town, School Budgets
The town voted for the second time on its budget.
EAST HAMPTON, CT - Voters passed the education and town budgets for the coming fiscal year, The Middletown Press reported. The education budget passed 1,150 to 832; the town budget passed 1,167 to 817.
Previously, voters narrowly rejected both budgets May 21.
A $500,000 project to repave part of North Main Street will now move forward, according to The Middletown Press.
