East Hampton Woman Arrested on Larceny Charge

The woman allegedly stole undisclosed items from Stop and Shop, police said.

On Monday, Jan. 26, at about 1:50 p.m., East Hampton police officers were dispatched to Stop and Shop at 11 High St. for a shoplifting complaint.

After a brief investigation, Christine Slossberg, 49, of 72 Abbey Rd., East Hampton, was placed under arrest for larceny in the sixth degree.

Slossberg was released after signing a $5,000 non-surety bond and promised to appear before the Middletown Superior Court on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to answer to the aforementioned charge.
