East Hampton Woman Dies After Car Accident

One woman succumbed to injuries incurred in a May 30 car accident on Tartia Road, according to a press release from East Hampton police.

Jeanne Urban, 47, of East Hampton, was transported by Life Star Helicopter to St. Francis Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injures.

According to police, Darin Hurne, 47, of East Hampton, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro at 5:30 p.m. with two passengers in the car — Urban and Al Souppa, 64, of East Hampton.

No other cars were involved in the accident, police said. Hurne and Souppa sustained injuries.
