American Legion Post 197 is sponsoring the second annual fishing derby on Sunday May 20, from 7 a.m. To 2 p.m.  (rain or shine) The derby is open to all children up to 14 years old (must be accompanied by an adult.) and will be held at Emmons Private Golden Pond on Long Crossing Road in East Hampton. Tickets are $10 per pole with a three fish limit. For tickets and directions please call the post at 860-295-7810. Hotdogs, burgers and soda will be available, and worms will be sold at the site.
