Family Bonfire & Storytelling at YMCA Camp Ingersoll

Join us for an evening filled with classic campfire games, stories, s'mores and more all while staying warm by the fire, rain or shine! Families are welcome to arrive at 3 PM to play the basketball courts, the super slide, or take a walk through camp. We will have Storyteller, Carolyn Stearns performing around the fire around 5 PM. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be moved indoors to our Corbin Cabin overlooking Job's Pond.

Bring your own food and have a family picnic or purchase dinner and snacks for the whole family! We will have burgers, dogs, s'mores, Ingersoll merchandise, glow necklaces and snacks for sale.

Joining us this evening we will have Connecticut Storyteller, Carolyn Stearns. Carolyn Stearns has a story for every audience, from agriculture and farm programs, to performance at the Big E New England’s State Fair, a Tellabration storytelling celebration, or even a family event at Camp Ingersoll, this is a children’s and adult’s storyteller for all seasons. Carolyn’s wonderful stories inspire, teach, fascinate , and entertain. Events from history come to life and seem like yesterday and her animal stories find a place in your heart.
