Fire Shuts Down Wedding Reception Early in East Hampton
A fire forced a wedding reception to end early Sunday.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A wedding reception was forced to end early after a fire occurred at St. Clements Castle in East Hampton Sunday afternoon.
The exact cause isn't known, but a grill malfunction may have added to the blaze, according to NBC Connecticut.
Fire crews responded around 1:17 p.m. to the fire, according to Fox 61. The fire was under control after an hour and a half.

The fire occurred at a smaller building located in East Hampton, but the main address of the castle is in Portland.
No injuries were reported.
