Fishing Report

Conditions should be good for trout fishing this weekend. Flows are back up to more typical spring levels, temperatures have been moderate to cool and there are plenty of recently stocked trout waiting for anglers.

Fishing last week was generally good, with reports from the West Branch Farmington (very good), Farmington River, Salmon River, Eightmile River, Pine Brook, Natchaug River (fishing has picked up here), Coginchaug River, Mill River (Hamden), Pequonnock River (18 trout for one angler), Bantam River, and Housatonic River (very good last weekend).
