Funeral Services Announced For Popular East Hampton Principal
Principal John Fidler died over the weekend while on vacation with his family.
EAST HAMPTON, CT — A wake and funeral will be held for popular East Hampton High School Principal John Fidler who died while on vacation with his family this past weekend.
Calling hours will be held at East Hampton High School in the auditorium on Friday Aug. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Saturday Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. There will be a reception at the East Hampton High School cafeteria following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Fidler Memorial Scholarship. Donations to the scholarship in Mr. Fidler’s name can be sent to:

The Board of Education will open its meeting for public comment on Aug 21 at 6:30 p.m. for community ideas on how to honor Fidler. Some have suggested naming the school or a part of it after him.
