Gorgas Named Shoreline Conference Pitcher of the Year

East Hampton places four players on All-Conference baseball teams.

 

East Hampton High School, the defending Class S state champions in baseball, had four players named to the All-Shoreline Conference teams.

The teams were decided by the conference coaches on Thursday night.

Sophomore Marvin Gorgas was named to the first team as a pitcher and was named the conference's Pitcher of the Year. Senior Adam Michaud also was named to the first team as an infielder as was catcher Spencer Daly, a senior. Junior Nate Heroux was named to the second team as an infielder.

The Bellringers (15-4) have qualifed for the Class S state tournament and will conclude their regular season at Valley Regional at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Their postseason will begin next week, the date and opponent to be determined.
