Body Found In Hampton Fire
The early morning blaze gutted a home and now police are investigating after remains were found.

HAMPTON, CT — State Police and other agencies are investigating after human remains were found after a fire in Hampton early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m., State Police said in a release. The home was heavily damaged in the blaze.
State Police and the Hampton Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death.

The home is located in a very rural setting and surrounding tankers assisted with water supply, according to Quinebaug Valley Emergency Communications Inc..
The fire occurred at 33 Eleventh Section Rd.
