ID Released in Fatal Portland Motorcycle Accident: UPDATE

PORTLAND, CT – A local man has died from injuries he sustained while riding his motorcycle over the weekend, the Middletown Press reported.

Michael Eastbrook, 60, suffered a severe head injury Saturday after swerving to avoid hitting a stopping car and either falling or jumping from his bike, according to the Middletown Press. Police said Eastbrook was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

No one else was injured in the accident, and Eastbrook was flown to the trauma center at Hartford Hospital, the Middletown Press reported. No one was found at fault or charged in the accident.
