Large Number of Car Break-Ins Occur in East Hampton

EAST HAMPTON, CT- Nearly a dozen cars were broken into this weekend during an overnight spree, the Middletown Press reported.

11 cars were broken into between late Saturday and Sunday morning, according to the Middletown Press. The weekend spree occurred off of West High Street.

Authorities reminded residents to be sure their cars are locked at night and to refrain from keeping valuables in their vehicles, the Middletown Press reported. Police are still investigating the situation and encourage anyone with information to contact police immediately.
