Man Caught Driving Drunk With 3 Convictions in 15 Years, No Interlock: Police
BREAKING: The driver is facing felony charges and was held without bail, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Hampton Bays man with three convictions in the past 15 years was caught driving drunk, again, in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Josue Valentin Lopez-Guzman, 32, was arrested on September 5 at 12:22 p.m. on Royal Street in East Hampton after he was seen driving a 2001 gray VW Cabrio, which was not equipped with an interlock device, north, while intoxicated.
Police said he was driving with a license revoked for an alcohol related offense; his license was revoked on 10/4/2007 for aggravated DWI, blood alcohol content .18 or higher, suspended on 6/27/2008 for failure to answer a summons, revoked on 12/18/2009 for driving while intoxicated with .08 percent or more alcohol in blood, revoked on 4/15/2013 for refusing to submit to a chemical test, suspended o 7/9/2013 for failure to pay driver responsibility assessment, and revoked on 9/4/2013 for driving while intoxicated.

Upon investigation, Lopez-Guzman's breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, his speech was slurred, he was unsteady on his feet and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests administered, police said.
He was charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, second degree commit aggravated unlicensed operation, alcohol or drugs, a felony, operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1 percent or more alcohol, three prior convictions of designated offense within 15 years, a felony, DWI, three prior convictions of designated offense within 15 years, a felony, and use leased/rented/loaned vehicle not equipped with an interlock device, a misdemeanor, police said.

He was held without bail, police said.
