Man Dies in Portland Accident Early Saturday
A person had died in the same area in a similar accident less than 18 months ago.
Police say a man was killed in a crash on Route 66 in Portland early Saturday, according to NBC Connecticut.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. involving two vehicles on a narrow stretch of road that includes a large rock embankment, NBC reports.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released. The road was closed for two miles between Portland and East Hampton as police investigated. It’s since been reopened.
