Man Points Gun At Campers In East Hampton: Police
Police said a man is accused of pointing a gun at campers in East Hampton while driving erratically.

EAST HAMPTON, CT - Police said a man is accused of pointing a gun at campers in East Hampton, as reported by NBC Connecticut. Police said the incident occurred Thursday around 8 p.m.
Police responded to Mott Hill Road after receiving reports of a man driving erratically and pointing a handgun at campers, according to NBC Connecticut. Officers stopped the vehicle after spotting it on Lake Drive and located a loaded gun on the front seat. Police subsequently arrested Lee Mitchell, 33, of Augusta, Kansas, according to NBC Connecticut. He was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
