Police: Portland Man Arrested After Napping on Arrigoni Bridge

He took a nap in his vehicle on the bridge and was over the legal limit for alcohol, according to police.

There are better places to take a cat nap than the Arrigoni Bridge in Middletown.

A Portland man found that out the hard way after he was arrested on drunk-driving charges after police found him asleep in the back seat of his vehicle that was parked on the bridge.

Police were alerted to the parked vehicle shortly before 5 a.m. on Dec. 20, according to the Hartford Courant.

Inside they found Roger Laskey, 18, asleep. His blood alcohol content was .140 and .146, according to police.
