The 175th Anniversary Parade is at 9:00 a.m. Watch for Library Board members and staff marching in the parade. After the parade, come to the 20th Annual Family Day – held on the Town Green on Waverly Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit the tables offered by the Friends of Portland library and the Library Board of Directors for special giveaways and book sales.
The Amazing Andy will present an all-ages magic show at 12:45 that features illusions, juggling, and much more. Stick around after the show as Andy interacts with the crowd, making balloon animals and doing tricks throughout the afternoon.
