Portland Mom Seeking Democratic Nomination For 32nd District Seat
A Portland mother of three is seeking the Democratic nomination for the 32nd District seat in the state House of Representatives.

PORTLAND, CT — A Portland mother of three is seeking the Democratic nomination for the 32nd District seat in the state House of Representatives, the Middletown Press reported. If successful, she would take on Republican Christie Carpino in November.
According to the Middletown Press, Laurel Steinhauser graduated from Wesleyan University in 2005, and since then has dedicated herself to "improving the lives of children and families" through actions such as running after-school classes in low-income communities.
She said he focus will be on job creation, economic development and assistance for small businesses, according to the Middletown Press.
