Portland officials have questions concerning the proposed development of the former Elmcrest Hospital property on the corner of Routes 17A and 66.The Middletown Press reports that the new developer of the site, Danbury-based Daniel E. Bertram of BRT Organization, is seeking to <a href="http://www.middletownpress.com/government-and-politics/20160207/developers-vision-for-old-elmcrest-parcel-in-portland-worries-some" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">significantly increase the number of residential units</a> in the planned complex, along with other changes.
