Come Down to the River to Pray and Worship

The First Congregational Church of Portland would like to invite all who may be interested to join them for a special worship service to be held this Sunday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverfront Park Pavilion, 284 Brownstone Avenue in Portland. You will need to bring a lawn chair or blanket for your pew seat, a hat to shade your head, and an open mind and spirit as we celebrate God’s creation in this beautiful place created by the people of the Brownstone Quorum.
During the service we will be honoring Jim Tripp and Frank and Carol Winiski who will be representing the Quorum, as well as, the co-chair leaders of the Airline Trail project, Lou Pear and Sari Rizzo. We are grateful to all of these volunteers for their efforts in preserving Portland’s treasures for all to enjoy. Bring a picnic lunch and join us as we continue our time together following the service by sharing a meal in the great outdoors and ending our day with some fun activities for children of all ages.
