A two-vehicle accident closed Route 66 in the vicinity of Lake Vista Road Tuesday afternoon.
The state Department of Transportation reports that the crash happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. It is currently unknown when the road will open up to traffic.
The Middletown Press reports that one person was taken to the hospital.
