Thieves Use Plow Truck To Break Into East Hampton Fire Station
Police are investigating after thieves broke into a volunteer fire station over the weekend.
EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police are investigating after thieves used a plow truck to break into a volunteer fire station overnight Sunday, according to The Middletown Press. Law enforcement has a person of interest in the case who is also suspected in a theft at a Citgo gas station.
Only some tools and toolbox were taken in the theft, but fire officials said the damage to the overhead doors and building will costs thousands to repair.
The station is now back in service, according to The Middletown Press.
