True Beauty: An Original PlayEpoch Arts, a non profit arts for youth organization, is proud to present an original one act play called True Beauty. Through their girls group,Breaking Silences, the girls have taken on the task of writing an original play based on beauty. Walk the runway with them as they enter a beauty contest only to find out it has nothing to do with physical beauty. 21 girls have written about their life experiences and what it is like growing up in a world that dictates what a young women should look and act like. Breaking apart magazine and commercial ads and redefining the word beauty, the girls take a look at what is most important to them, true beauty. Content is appropriate for youth grade 6th and up.March 14 & 15, 7:00pm. $7 admission, $5 students and seniors. 27 Skinner Street, East Hampton.
