“Don’t sleep through the revolution!” he proclaimed in that booming mesmerizing voice of his. What is the revolution that Dr. King would have us not sleep through in our own day? What does it mean to wake up? In the words of the Black Lives Matter movement of our Unitarian Universalist Association, the call is: “Stay woke!” We’ll review and preview some of the many ways in which each and all of us can do exactly that and how in doing so, we grow our souls.
