We join hundreds of other congregations in celebrating Sophia Lyon Fahs Sunday. Sophia Lyon Fahs is an iconic presence among “the prophetic voices of women and men of all ages.” As a religious educator, writer, and Unitarian Universalist minister whose long life spanned the better part of the 20th century, Fahs was a prime mover in how we do lifespan religious education. Let this service be an experienced echo of the living legacy of this remarkable woman.
