The Art of Zentangle

No art experience required! Participants will be provided with all materials needed and additional materials may be
purchased to take home for those interested. This free workshop will be led by Kelley Kelly, Certified Zentangle Teacher She is a graduate of Smith College with a degree in music and who has studied Fine Art Photography in graduate school. Registration required for this free adult program.

See before and after pictures! Sarah Soboleski, LCSW, is the owner of Classically Organized, a professional organizing business serving homeowners in central Connecticut. In addition, she is a licensed clinical social worker and specializes in working with persons struggling with
mental illness and at-risk families. She is a member of The Connecticut Hoarding Working Group; a statewide force focused on hoarding disorder. Registration required for this free adult program.

Lunch and Learn The Children Act by Ian McEwan March 8th, 2016 at 12:00 noon

During a crisis in her private life, she is called upon to rule in the case of Adam, a seventeen-year-old boy with leukemia who refuses a blood transfusion as a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Should the secular court overrule sincerely expressed faith? Fiona’s hospital encounter with Adam has emotional repercussions that lead to her momentous decision.

Art on Display Student Art Month

Drawings, paintings, prints and ceramics created by Portland students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 will be showcased. You are cordially invited to attend the opening reception sponsored by the Friends of the Portland Library which will be held in the Mary Flood Room on Thursday, March 10th from 4 to 6 p.m. Please come see the wonderful work of our young artists and
