Wild Weather Forecast for East Hampton, Portland

Pack your umbrella for Tuesday, Oct. 7, through Wednesday, Oct. 8.

For those planning on going outside to look at the blood moon lunar eclipse, you’re going to want to bring your umbrella. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area.

  • Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 62. South wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 75. West wind 14 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
  • Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 48. West wind 7 to 11 mph.
  • Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 65. Light west wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning.
