Woman's Body Pulled From Lake In East Hampton

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Firefighters pulled a woman's body out of Lake Pocotopaug Friday morning, and a cause of death is pending an autopsy by the chief medical examiner's office.

A resident spotted the body in the lake and called police around 6:17 a.m. The lake is located near Route 66.

Police have not yet released the name of the woman.
