Youth Sports at Camp Ingersoll Begins This Week!

It's not too late to sign up for youth sports at YMCA Camp Ingersoll! Classes begin this Saturday, September 9th!

Fall is officially here, school is back in session, and we are always looking for ways for families to get outdoors as much as possible this season! At Camp Ingersoll we create a positive atmosphere where your children can make friends, learn skills, and have fun all year round. It’s not too late to sign up, our first Fall Youth Sports Session begins Saturday, September 9th and runs for a total of 8 weeks.

This Session we are running the following classes:

  • Parent and Me T-Ball (3 yrs) (9-9:45 AM)
  • Pee-Wee T-Ball (4 - 5 yrs) (10-10:45 AM)
  • Parent and Me Soccer (3 yrs) (9-9:45 AM)
  • Pee Wee Soccer (4-5 yrs) (10-10:45 AM)
  • Archery (7-10 yrs) (11-11:45 AM)
  • Fishing Fun (10-14 OR any age with supervision) (12-12:45 AM)

Sports are more than dribbling, kicking, or throwing. We teach social skills: how to greet peers and share common interests, how to work together with a partner, and how to HAVE FUN! Children learn that healthy living can be fun. Your children will be introduced to these skills through inclusive activities and games designed to create excitement and interest in physical activity.
