5 People Sustain Serious Injuries After 2 Vehicle Accident in East Haven: Police

Police said all five people were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital. BREAKING

EAST HAVEN, CT — Five people sustained serious injuries late Sunday after being involved in a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident, police said.

Police said at 10:04 p.m. officers responded with the East Haven Fire Department to a two car, motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Foxon Road, and Mill Street.

This accident involved two pickup trucks. Upon arrival it was determined to be a serious accident, with a report of one person possibly trapped in a vehicle, police said.

The Fire Department subsequently treated five patients, all with serious injuries, police said.

At this point they all seem to be non-life threatening injuries, police said.

All five patients were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment.
