6th-Grade Boogie Night

Middle school put on its first-ever Spring Fling Friday night.

Kids did the chicken polka, the hoola hoop and their own freestyle steps Friday evening in the first-ever Spring Fling for Joseph Melillo Middle School sixth-graders. The event, which drew about 150 students, was hosted by the PTC. DJ Ralph Schlottman provided the tunes.

The dance was chaperoned by JMMS Principal John Prato, Assistant Principal Phyllis Savo, teachers  and parents.
