All Aboard: Shore Line Trolley Museum Seeks Volunteers
Looking for something to do this summer? Have an interest in history? Enjoy interacting with people? And you don't need a lot of training!

EAST HAVEN, CT — The Shore Line Trolley Museum is gearing up for a very busy season with several volunteer opportunities available.
If you are looking for something to do this summer, have an interest in history, and enjoy interacting with people, the museum will be offering a Trolley Tour Guide program on Saturday, April 23 and Saturday, May 7. The course is two weeks on site, learning about the museum and practicing public interaction, and one additional online session. After training, you’ll be paired with an experienced volunteer before “going solo.”
There is no fee for this class, and the class is also open to those under 18 with parental consent. Pre-registration is required at www.shorelinetrolley.org.

If public speaking isn’t for you, the museum has many other seasonal and year-round volunteer opportunities. We are especially in need of summer groundskeepers, carpenters and painters, K-4 educators for children’s programs, office assistants, media and web staff, day of event setup and breakdown, and people interested in working on our Pumpkin Patch and Santa events.
