About Terra Allen, April Student of the Month

Terra Allen has been an active and dedicated member of her school community throughout all four years of high school. She has participated in marching band, winter guard, and percussion for all four years. She also served as captain of Winter Guard and Percussion for the past three years.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Terra has been involved in e-sports all four years, serving as captain during both her junior and senior years. She is also a member of the Creative Club and participated in a season of drum corps during her sophomore year. Terra’s creativity extends into academics as well, where she completed an independent study in art focused on world-building—combining imagination, storytelling, and design. This fall, Terra will attend Quinnipiac University, where she plans to double major in computer science and game design.

About Ava Rosarbo, May Student of the Month

Ava Rosarbo is an outstanding student whose involvement, leadership, and dedication have made a meaningful impact both inside and outside of school. Ava currently serves as vice president of the Drama Club, where she combines creativity with leadership. She is also a member of the East Haven Arts Commission, showing her dedication to supporting and promoting the arts beyond the school setting. Her leadership continues through her role as vice president for the Class of 2027.

In addition to these responsibilities, Ava is involved in Yearbook Club, Science Club, and the National Honor Society. She also serves as a writing center tutor, helping and supporting fellow students with their academic growth. Looking ahead, Ava plans to pursue a master's degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a therapist. This career path reflects her caring nature and desire to help others navigate challenges and find support.

About Fank Prete, June Student of the Month

Frank Prete is a student with a clear vision for his future. One of the qualities we admire in our students is their ability to think ahead and establish meaningful goals, and Frank has already begun doing exactly that. Following high school, Frank plans to pursue a degree in business marketing, with a minor in accounting and/or overall business team management. His interests reflect an understanding of the many components that contribute to successful organizations. Setting goals and identifying a path toward them is an important part of personal growth and success, and Frank’s focus on developing both leadership and business skills demonstrates ambition and determination.
