EAST HAVEN, CT—For the 20th year in a row, the East Haven Rotary Club feeds those in need for Thanksgiving.
The Turkey Day dinners are free and include all the fixings.
The Club said La Cucina Prepared Meals & Catering will be packaging the dinners for takeout, and Rotary Club members will also be picking up dinners for those who need their meal delivered starting at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.
"With the continuing economic climate, many more families may find themselves in need of some type of assistance, and the Rotary is encouraging residents to feel comfortable participating in the program," the Club noted.
In 2025, the Rotary Club provided more dinners than ever before.
"On behalf of the Rotary Club, I would like to extend our gratitude to La Cucina, as they graciously agreed to take on the preparation of the meals this year," said Rotarian Ashley Lesco, committee chairperson. "We are extremely grateful, as they will play a vital role in the success of this community service project."
The Rotary Club cannot do this alone.
"With the increasing needs of the community, especially this year, monetary donations would be greatly appreciated," the Club noted.
