Angelina Fusco, 103 of East Haven

Angelina “Angie” (Sciarra) Fusco, 103 of East Haven passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. She was born March 17, 1922 in New Haven CT to Frank and Frances (Giordano) Sciarra. She married Lawrence “Larry” Fusco on November 17, 1945. Angie is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Judy Hausmann (Frederick) of Calverton NY and two grandchildren she adored; Kimberly Hausmann (Michael Campanella) and Frederick Hausmann (Mary Kate) along with four great grandchildren; Emma Djabbarah, Isabelle Campanella, Michael Hausmann and Katelyn Hausmann. Angie is also survived by her sister, Marie Aiello of East Haven and numerous nieces and nephews. Angie is predeceased by her husband Larry, two sisters Kaye Manginelli and Rose Ziaks, and a brother Nicholas Sciarra.

Angie was an East Haven resident for many years. She worked for Winchester during World War II followed by AC Gilbert and Dow Cover. She enjoyed spending time with her family and made many lifelong friendships along the way. She was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul and an active member of Jolly Timers and the East Haven Senior Center. Angie and Larry enjoyed retirement in Florida from 1985 through 2013 which brought her much joy playing bingo, bocce, and of course annual visits from family. In her later years, Angie would be found crocheting throw blankets for those in need.

Family will receive friends on Friday June 13, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, June 14 in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish and the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
