Anthony "Tony" Redente obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Anthony “Tony” Redente, 76 of East Haven passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025 surrounded by his wife and family. He was born January 25, 1949 in New Haven to Dominick Sr. and Josephine (Puccino) Redente. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Veronica “Ronnie” Redente and their daughter, Suzanne McNellis (Robert) of Missoula, Montana along with five grandchildren; Jeremy Redente, Kadin Redente, Brooklyn McNellis, Madelyn McNellis and Natalie McNellis. Anthony is also survived by his two siblings; Robert Redente (Kathy) of East Haven and Joann Innamorato (Joseph) of West Haven, brother-in-law, Michael Savage (Bob Lorenz) of Sidney, Maine and numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and a great-great niece.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Redente (2015) and two brothers, Dominick Redente Jr. and Joseph Redente.
Anthony worked and later retired from the Town of East Haven working in the public works department. He was a proud 56 year member of the East Haven Fire Department Volunteer Company One.

The Redente family would like to thank Dr. Jill Lacy, Teresa White APRN and the nurses at the GI Smilow Clinic for their kind and compassionate care of Anthony.
Family will receive friends on Sunday July 6, 2025 from 2 to 5 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 7 at 11 AM in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal/Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.

Donations may be made to the Yale New Haven Health – Health at Home Hospice, 753 Boston Post Rd., Guilford CT 06437 in memory of Anthony Redente.
