Auditions for Seussical Jr. and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

The East Haven Arts Commission is holding auditions for our Summer 2016 Youth Theater Season...

Seussical Jr. for kids ages 9-17

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for young adults entering grade 10-age 25T

Seussical the Musical Jr. is an incredibly fun show with tons of parts and is the story of many Dr. Seuss books combined! Auditions are are May 19th and 20th! Each day has two time slots: 3:30-5:30 and 6-8. If you would like to audition, please sign up for one of these slots on one of these days, and be prepared to stay for the entire time. At auditions, you will be asked to come prepared with 30 seconds of a musical theater/Disney song that you will sing either a capella or with a CD that you bring. You also do some readings with the other auditioners as well as do a short dance audition. Seussical will rehearse 2-3 days a week and will perform on July 22nd and 23rd!

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a hilarious, show for young adults! Auditions are May 17th and 18th with a 4:00-6:00 and 7:00-9:00 audition slot each day! If you would like to audition, please sign up for one of these slots on one of these days, and be prepared to stay for the entire time. At auditions, you will be asked to come prepared with 30 seconds of a musical theater song that you will sing either a capella or with a CD that you bring. You also do some readings with the other auditioners as well as do a short dance audition. Spelling Bee will rehearse 2-3 days a week and will perform on July 29th and 30th!
