Bare Necessities' Shoreline Law Enforcement Diaper, Wipes Drive Helps Keep Babies Dry
Donations can be made online, or may be dropped off at the East Haven Police Department, 24 hours a day.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The Bare Necessities annual Shoreline Law Enforcement Diaper & Wipe Drive, where folks donate diapers and wipes at local police departments, including East Haven, is underway now through Feb. 15.
As noted by Bare Necessities, "Diapers aren’t covered by SNAP or WIC, yet they’re required for daycare and cost families up to $100 a month."
"This drive helps parents focus on work, childcare, and keeping their babies healthy," the agency noted on Facebook.

The annual diaper drive would not be as successful as it has been recently without the help of local police departments. Every shoreline station from East Haven to Old Saybrook will be diaper central through Feb. 15.
The Old Saybrook Police Department, Connecticut State Police Troop F in Westbrook, Clinton Police Department, Madison Police Department, Guilford Police Department, Branford Police Department, North Branford Police Department and East Haven Police Department, are all part of the effort and are collecting diapers and wipes for the drive.
