'Blessing Of The Animals' Supports East Haven Animal Shelter
Well-behaved dogs on leashes, cats and other pets in carriers, or bring photos, and donations for the animal shelter at the Oct. 4 event.
EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Animal Shelter and Christ and The Epiphany Church are holding a Blessing of the Animals Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church on the Town Green.
The Rev. Andrew G. Osmun will offer a special blessing for your pet in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi. Well-behaved dogs on leashes, cats in carriers and other pets (or their photos) are welcome. Please bring donations of canned and dry pet food, treats, toys, and bedding.
Christ and The Epiphany Church is located at 39 Park Place.
