Brancati Out As East Haven Economic Development Director
Mayor Joseph A Carfora said that as of '4 p.m. today, Mr. Sal Brancati is no longer working for the Town of East Haven.'
EAST HAVEN, CT — Sal Brancati Jr., is the now former East Haven Director of Administration and Management, Mayor Joseph A. Carfora confirmed for Patch Wednesday. Brancati was the economic development director for the town.
Brancati, a former longtime New Haven economic development director, was "one of the few non-union holdovers from former Mayor Joe Maturo Jr.’s administration," the New Haven Register reported.
"Please know that as of 4 pm today Mr. Sal Brancati is no longer working for the Town of East Haven," Carfora said in an emailed statement.

Carfora did not provide any information on who he will be naming to the position.
