Caitlyn Keish and Garret Pates -- 7th Graders of the Year

Caitlyn Keish and Garret Pates were the recipients of the prestigious 2011 “Student of-the-Year Awards” at Joseph Melillo Middle School this past Wednesday for the seventh-grade class.

In addition to the top awards, the students received recognition in other areas. Under the unified arts category, Caitlyn was honored for her participation in library and art; Garret for his achievements in health.

Caitlyn and Garret are heralded as dedicated students both academically and ethically.  They have been well-respected role models to their classmates.

Congratulations to the kids for their achievements. They are encouraged to strive toward their goals.  Best of luck to the accomplished duo next year in eighth grade.
