Camp Erio Summer Marketing Academy

Erio Marketing, a marketing agency based in Branford, CT, has officially opened up enrollment for their inaugural Summer Marketing Academy. Open to all middle school girls in Connecticut, the camp will be free of charge and will introduce campers to various marketing concepts and aspects of business. Over the course of 3 days, campers will be exposed to a variety of marketing topics such as advertising, branding, social media, public relations, and more. They will learn from guest speakers, participate in small discussion groups, connect with successful female marketers, and work to solve real-world problems. The camp will conclude with a final presentation where the campers will create a marketing plan and share it with their peers.

"It is the first time a marketing academy like this is being offered in Connecticut and it is incredibly exciting to see it come to fruition," explains Erica Palmer, founder of Camp Erio and Erio Marketing. “Women, at any age, are more likely to succeed when they are mentored by other women, and we are passionate about passing that torch on. We hope that through this camp, we will be able to inspire the next generation of successful marketers and entrepreneurs.”

Camp Erio | Summer Marketing Academy will run August 8-10, 2018 from 9:00am-5:00pm. It will be held at the Digital Surgeons’ office, located within District, New Haven’s newest technology and innovation campus.
