CARES 'Family Zumba Night' This Friday
Put your dancing shoes on — East Haven School District's CARES Program is holding a "Zumba Family Fitness Night" this Friday.

What better way to welcome in the weekend than dancing the night away with family, friends and neighbors.
The will be sponsoring a "Family Zumba Night" at this Friday, May 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

This is a free event is for the entire district. All students, however, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Attendees should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. And bottled water will be provided.

About CARES
The initiative, which is based at the and stands for "Cares About Residents Especially Students" — seeks to among the school community's Hispanic families.
In addition to Zumba Night, CARES activities this year included ”Family Story Night" and “Little Scientists.”
The last event this season will be "Dessert Night" at , which will also be a district-wide gathering.
Next year, school officials said CARES (which includes ELL Dept, Adult Ed and PTOs) will be back with additional programs and events for the school community.
