Carfora Criticizes 'Personal Attacks' In Campaign

Submitted by Democratic mayoral candidate Joe Carfora:

"Carfora will continue to campaign with integrity and not participate in his opponent’s personal smear tactics," his statement reads.

"My opponent and his handlers continue the personal attacks on me and my family. Despite a yearlong campaign, and numerous opportunities to speak about real issues, my opponent still fails to do so, but instead chooses a negative personal attack campaign. He and his Republican handlers have embarrassed East Haven for far too long.

In this last week leading to election day, like I have throughout this entire campaign, our team will continue to fight for your vote by remaining honest, transparent, and passionate about the pressing issues that face us.

I want the job as your Mayor, but I will only seek your support with integrity.

It is time for a change in East Haven and Team Carfora is that change.
