Carfora Debates, Penn Moderates: Incumbent Faces 2 Mayoral Challengers
Incumbent Mayor Joseph Carfora to debate Republican Samantha Parlato and petitioning candidate Anthony Camposano Oct. 26, 6 p.m. at EHHS.

EAST HAVEN, CT —The 2023 East Haven Mayoral Debate is set for Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. at East Haven High School.
Moderated by Vinnie Penn from News Talk 960 WELI, incumbent Mayor Joseph A. Carfora will face off against challengers Republican Samantha Parlato and Anthony Camposano in a lively discussion of the key issues that matter most to East Haven residents.
In a news release from Carfora, who is seeking re-election after two successful terms in office, the debate promises to be an informative event in the upcoming mayoral race.

"The citizens of East Haven will have an opportunity to hear from the candidates and make informed decisions about who has the proper vision for East Haven moving forward," his campaign wrote.
Penn, a well-known voice in Connecticut radio, said he is "happy and excited to be back in East Haven to moderate the mayoral debate."

The debate will cover a wide range of topics, pertinent to the residents of East Haven and the
candidates’ qualifications for the position. Each candidate will have the opportunity to answer
questions from both the moderator and collected from the audience.
"East Haven residents are encouraged to attend this important event to gain insight into the
candidates' positions and plans for the town's future," the Carfora campaign announcement reads.
